Abstract

The aims of these open studies were to assess human lymphoblastoid interferon-α (Wellferon, Wellcome Foundation Limited) in the treatment of severe, persistent warts and to (a) evaluate the relative merits of the intralesional, intramuscular and dermojet routes of administration and (b) establish a safe, effective and patient-acceptable treatment regime which could subsequently be used in fully controlled studies.
