Abstract
Konturek: There have been several reports recently that vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is important, particularly in the duodenum for the stimulation of alkaline secretion also in response to duodenal acid application. Would you comment on the role of VIP in the mechanism of alkaline secretion?
