Abstract

We are interested in the quantum scattering of particles. The experimental results are cross sections corresponding to “long” wave packets that justify a time-independent formulation. We assume that we know a good model to describe the interaction, for instance, the Schrödinger equation, where the parameter describing the interaction is called “the potential.” Hence, the central rule of our work is a mathematical model enabling us to define a mapping from a “set of parametersL, into a “set of results” ℰ.
