Abstract

We are again interested in scattering experiments where a beam of particles A is scattered by a target made up of particles B, at a “non-relativistic” given energy E (except in sections which are devoted to particular problems). For the quantum mechanical description of the system A-B, we use the Schrödinger equation, and one or several functions depending on the relative distance between the particles. Our “inverse problem” is the construction of these “potentials” from the experimental measurements.
