The Use of an Implantable Vascular Occluder in the Treatment of Nonresectable Hepatic Malignancies
Since the pioneering work of Segall  and the introduction of hepatic artery ligation by Markowitz  occlusion of the hepatic artery has been used as a means to induce regression in liver tumors.
