Abstract

In situ spectroelectrochemical and EPR studies of polyaniline (PANi) synthetized in NH F,2.3HF were carried out in association with cyclic voltammetry. The results are discussed in terms of the redox reaction mechanisms. We propose that the complete redox mechanism involves four one-electron steps and two polaron — bipolaron states in PANi films.
