Abstract
The clinical application of hyperthermia is based on experimental results of regional tumor heating. A temperature of 41.5°-42° C is assumed to be effective for therapeutic procedures in oncology. It has been shown that hyperthermia improves tumor regression, especially in combination with radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
