Abstract
Between the greetings and the introduction, between the work and the festivities, I should like to welcome you in my capacity as representative of one of the sponsors of the symposium, namely the Ministry for Youth, Family, Women and Health. We, that is to say the federal government, are pleased that the University of Ulm planned this symposium as part of its twentieth anniversary celebrations.
