Abstract

HDTV will — of the advantage of the high resolution pictures to be used — be reproduced with a large-screen or with large-screen projection in the home. An appropriate sound recording and reproduction must take this into account, i.e. make a satisfactory sterephonic reproduction possible for observers sitting beside each other.
