Zusammenfassung
’Lärm ist das stärkste Umweltgift von heute’. Durch Lärm fühlen sich mehr als zwei Drittel der Bewohner der Bundesrepublik Deutschland belästigt. Dies ist bedingt durch die ständige Zunahme von Straßenverkehr, Luftverkehr und Industrielärm (Danilenko 1984). Die medizinische Definition weist dem ’Lärm’ die Dimension einer Wirkung zu: Lärm ist ein negativ bewerteter oder gesundheitsschädigender Schall, der das seelische, körperliche und soziale Wohlbefmden beeinträchtigt (Jansen 1967).
