Recent Experimental Results in Spin-Glass Dynamics

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Springer Series in Solid-State Sciences ((SSSOL,volume 69))

Abstract

There seems to be now a number of experimental evidences that dynamics in spin-glasses may provide informations which are relevant to the equilibrium properties: several groups have successfully performed dynamic scaling in a variety of spin-glasses /1–5/; the dynamic exponent is experimentally found to scale between roughly 7 and 8 which compares very well to the exponent determined in the latest numerical simulations /6/; this can be understood through the occurrence of a phase transition at finite temperature.
