Abstract

The overall purpose of this volume, like that of the Workshop from which it derives, is not only to present an interchange of experience and views between analysts with differing backgrounds, but also to identify research gaps and to suggest future research activities on arms-control problems. For the Verification and Post-Agreement Assessment Working Group, the focus would be expected to be on the practicabilities of arms control for the fairly near future.
