Dynamical LEED Theory

Part of the Springer Series in Surface Sciences book series (SSSUR, volume 6)


The last chapter has shown the limitations of the kinematic approximation in LEED. In this chapter we shall describe the dynamical or multiple-scattering formalism that has explained successfully the experimentally observed intensities.
