Abstract
In the last chapter, we considered the response of some viscoelastic models in creep and relaxation tests. Now, we analize the behavior of a typical viscoelastic solid — the standard model, under more general types of loading. The procedure used is quite general, and valid for any other material or loading history. Afterwards, we introduce the concepts of fading memory and reduced modulus.
