Summary
The ASR receiver was designed and constructed by Franco-Tosi Industriale and AGIP SpA with fundamental contributions from ENEL (Italian National Board of Electricity) for the receiver dynamic analysis and control system design and from CNR (National Research Council), the Italian official representative. The receiver intallation at Almería Central Receiver System power plant was completed in August 1983.
