Abstract
One year after first test installations of the VDA-Surface Interface (VDAFS) it is still too early to write a comprehensive experience report. This contribution is based in part on discussions with members of the VDA-working groups “Geometrische Schnittstelle” and “Test” [3] but predominantly on the author’s experience of data exchange with automobile sub-suppliers.
