Abstract

Competition between exchange couplings is the well known mechanism [1] giving non collinear spin configuration in an Heisenberg model and here we discuss two different situations. First we consider the case of competition between couplings in the basal plane as is the case, for instance,of compounds of the NiBr2 family.
