Abstract
Since this book emphasizes effects related to supercritical fields, there is not enough space for a comprehensive treatment of the different many-body effects in QED, including the proper treatment of interacting quantum fields. Fortunately, most of the general formalism developed for interacting quantized fields remains valid even when supercritical fields are encountered. Thus this chapter treats only the most important extensions of the theory specific to supercritical fields.
