Abstract

Both the static and dynamic normal modes of ferromagnetic superconductors are obtained theoretically as the coupled modes of spin, photon and electric current. With the use of these normal modes, we study, from a unified viewpoint, the static and dynamic electromagnetic properties of the bulk, surface and film of ferromagnetic superconductors. We discuss the oscillation of the field around a vortex, the oscillation of the field penetrating from the surface, the spontaneous surface magnetization, the interaction between a vortex and the surface, the magnetic order in the film, and the reflectance for an electromagnetic wave.
