Abstract

Epitaxy has become a very topical field of research, not only because of its fundamental interest [16.1–3] but also because of its vital importance in solid-state device fabrication. The phenomenon owes its technological importance to its unique role in the fabrication of single crystals with certain desired properties [16.4–6].
