Zusammenfassung

Die immunsuppressive Therapie wurde seit 1981 in vielen Transplantationszentren weitgehend auf das Medikament Cyclosporin A (CyA) zusammen mit niedrigen Dosierungen von Prednison umgestellt (1). Unter CyA-Therapie ist die rechtsventriculäre Myokardbiopsie der einzig relevante Parameter geblieben, um Abstoßungsreaktionen am Herzen frühzeitig zu diagnostizieren (2). Unser Ziel war es, aufgrund differenzierter hämatologischer Veränderungen im peripheren Blut (PB) rechtzeitig beginnende Abstoßungsreaktionen oder generalisierte Virusinfektionen zu erkennen. Dadurch scheint es möglich, die Zahl der invasiven Myokardbiopsien deutlich einzuschränken.
