Retroperitoneal Tumors

The diagnosis of a retroperitoneal tumor is mainly based on the data obtained simultaneously by the IVP (AP and lateral) sonography and the biological tests (especially cathecolamines assays). CT is extremely valuable in assessing the extent of the process and in following the course of the disease under appropriate treatment.
