Abstract
Niobium and compounds NbN, Nb3Sn, Nb3Al..., are being intensively studied as high Tc superconductors [1]. However, these materials were little used so far in high-frequency phonon work, although their inherent strong electron-phonon coupling promises fast bolometric operation [2].
