Abstract

A review is presented of the current status of investigations on the anomalous thermal resistance of the boundary between small particles and liquid He-3 observed at temperatures below about 10 mK.

  19. This estimation of dipole moment (0.1D) of He atom adsorbed on clean W seems to be large. Using polarizability x b and the observed dipole moment u° for Ar, Kr, and Xe, we Rave at most PH X u /X =0.02–0.0B D for clean W.
