Ultrasonic Doppler Measurements of Bubble Velocities in Bubble Columns

  • Conference paper

Abstract

Ultrasonic Doppler techniques are useful methods for measuring local bubble velocities in bubble column reactors. Details of the instrumentation are given together with experimental tests of the system. Typical results obtained in bubble columns demonstrate the applicability in real two-phase flows.
