Abstract

A theory of macroscopic dielectric response (ɛ(Ω)) in glassy dielectrics is developed. Using the coarse graining procedures and the dipole approximation we take account of both the long-range Coulomb force and the local randomness. Based on the (computer) experimental results,we discuss the generalization of the characterization of the TO and the LO modes to the disordered systems.
