Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff Schock beschreibt das klinische Syndrom einer kritisch verminderten Gewebsperfusion. Als Folge werden die beiden Vitalfunktionen — der Transport von Sauerstoff und Substraten in das Gewebe und der Abtransport von Gewebsmetaboliten — erheblich gestört (Messmer 1974).
