Zusammenfassung
Die Chemotherapie des metastasierenden Urothelkarzinoms hat in den letzten Jahren an Bedeutung gewonnen. Zum Anfang der siebziger Jahre wurden Adriamycin und 5-Fluorouracyl am meisten angewendet. Die Monotherapie mit Adriamycin erreichte jedoch nur eine Remissionsrate von 23% bei einer enttäuschenden Remissionsdauer von nur 3 Monaten.
