Zusammenfassung

Bereits 1879 hat sich Billroth bei simultan auftretenden Tumoren in beiden Nieren die Frage gestellt, ob es sich um eine Metastasierung oder zufällig gleichzeitig entstandene primäre Tumore handelt. Leider ist es bis heute, trotz der modernsten histologischen Techniken, nicht möglich, diese Frage eindeutig zu beantworten.
