Abstract

The decade of the seventies found business heavily involved in purchasing word processing equipment and other tools to make the clerical worker more effective. The next two decades will put the emphasis on making the managerial level of the work force more productive. The tools being introduced to the managerial level include Computer Conferencing which is gaining a very positive reputation, as well as extensive use in business. The authors have had extensive experience with a system called NOTEPAD, offered by INFOMEDIA, INC.
