Zusammenfassung
Die Harnblase ist ein mit Schleimhaut ausgekleidetes muskuläres Hohlor-gan. Das Harndrang verursachende normale Fassungsvermögen beträgt 300-500 ml. Sie liegt extraperitoneal hinter der Symphyse, und lediglich ihre kranialen Anteile sind vom Peritoneum überzogen. Im gefüllten Zustand steigt die Harnblase, das Peritoneum vor sich herschiebend, über die Symphyse, wo-bei mit dem Spatium praevesicale ein extraperitonealer Zugang zur Blase ent-steht, welcher bei verschiedenen diagnostischen und therapeutischen Eingrif-fen genutzt wird (z. B. ultraschallgezielte Punktion). Von Symphyse und Prostata ist die Blase durch gefäßplexushaltige bindegewebige Formationen abge
grenzt. Die Abgrenzung nach dorsal zum Rektum geschieht durch die bindege-webige Fascia prostatoperitonealis.
