Kurzfassung
Dem Versagen eines im Bereich der Mischreibung betriebenem tribologischen Systems durch Verschleiß geht im allgemeinen ein kritischer Verschleißzustand voraus, dessen Früherkennung von erheblicher sicherheitstechnischer und wirtschaftlicher Bedeutung ist. Die hierzu bewährten, auf der Analyse des Abriebs im Öl beruhenden spektroskopisehen Verfahren sowie RNT werden anhand von im Gleit- und Wälzbereich durchgeführten Modell- und Betriebsversuchen in der Leistungsfähigkeit mit der Ferrographie verglichen, die als ein die Verschleißpartikel im Magnetfeld sammelndes und ordnendes Verfahren arbeitet und bei der damit über Aussagen quantitativer Änderungen im Verschleißverhalten hinaus noch die Partikelcharakteristik als Beurteilungskriterium herangezogen werden kann. Im Gegensatz zu den obengenannten Verfahren können gelöste chemische Verbindungen, die z.B. beim Reaktionsschichtverschleiß entstehen, nicht erfaßt werden. Die Untersuchungen haben ergeben, daß die Ferrographie zur Überwachung geschmierter Bauteile insbesondere von Aggregaten,über deren Systemverhalten Erfahrungen vorliegen, im allgemeinen geeignet ist, außerdem eine wertvolle Ergänzung zu den spektroskopischen Verfahren und RNT darstellt.
