Zusammenfassung
Die kurativen Behandlungserfolge der Strahlentherapie beim inoperablen, nicht kleinzelligen Bronchialkarzinom sind leider sehr gering, aber immerhin vorhanden. Diese weithin unbekannte Tatsache in Verbindung mit den Möglichkeiten der Palliativtherapie geben der Strahlentherapie in der Behandlung dieses Tumors insofern eine nicht unerhebliche Bedeutung, da die Möglichkeiten alternativer Behandlungsmethoden, speziell der Chemotherapie, heute ebenfalls noch sehr begrenzt sind.
