The Situation of Contraception in Families of Alien Employees: With Special Consideration of Sterilization
Dependent on sociocultural conventions women in families of alien employees have different mental attitudes to sexuality and contraception. In a comparative study the mentality of women in these families to contraception, sterilization, and wanted and unwanted pregnancy was analyzed and discussed under special consideration of socioeconomic and sociocultural family structure and professional and social environment. To get more detailed information three groups of unselected patients consulting our clinic for the purpose of sterilization and/or legal abortion were studied: 100 Turkish women, 100 Yugoslavs and a control group of 100 German patients having the same age structure and socioeconomical background.
