Electrical Stimulation of Posterior Parietal Lobe
It is difficult to elicit motor effects by electrical stimulation of the posterior parietal lobe. Weak currents have no observable effects on monkeys under deep pentobarbital narcosis. However, several types of responses have been observed when superficial ether anaesthesia and strong currents or chronically prepared awake animals have been used.
