Zusammenfassung

Über annähernd 110 Fälle von Penisverletzun- gen mit komplettem Einriß der Tunica albuginea wurde bisher berichtet [1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17]. Sie werden im Schrifttum über-wiegend als Penisfraktur bezeichnet [1, 4, 5, 7, 12, 15, 17]. Obwohl im Vergleich zu anderen urologischen Notfällen selten, sollte bei einer Penisfraktur diagnostisch und therapeutisch nichts dem Zufall überlassen bleiben, da eine wesentliche Organfunktion des Mannes, die Potentia coeundi, auf dem Spiel steht.
