Summary
Clinical pharmacological phase-II-trials in cross-over design, in which the effect is tested time-dependant under various conditions with repetitions, are evaluated only for very few time points.
For the finding of the right time points the canonical correlation analysis is proposed and demonstrated by means of an example. As herefore standardised variables are employed, no information is obtained on location parameters, in the comparison of which between Verum- and Placebo-treatment the clinical pharmacologist is solely interested.
