Zusammenfassung
Hazardfunktionen, heute ein selbstverständliches Hilfsmittel für die mathematisch-statistische Analyse von Überlebensdaten, wurden in der Medizin schon früher implizit dazu benutzt, um zur Frage der Lebensverlängerung durch eine Behandlung Stellung nehmen zu können. In dieser Arbeit soll am Beispiel des Mammakarzinoms dargestellt werden, daß das Konzept der Hazardfunktionen geeignet ist, biologische Krankheitsmodelle in eine mathematische Sprache zu übersetzen.
