Zusammenfassung

Erhöhte Werte der sauren Serumphosphatase werden als Indikator eines bestehenden Prostata- karzinoms bzw. einer hämatogenen Metastasierung dieses Karzinoms interpretiert. An die Entwicklung immunologischer Methoden zur spezifischen Bestimmung der Prostata-Phosphatase verband sich die Vorstellung, frühe kurativ behandelbare Stadien des Karzinoms zu diagnostizieren.
