Zusammenfassung

Aphthen stellen nosologisch keine Entität sondern ein Symptom dar und werden nach klinischen Kriterien beurteilt [5]. Die Klassifikation der Aphthosen wird in der Literatur nicht einheitlich durchgeführt. Nicht weniger unterschiedlich und vielfältig sind die Hypothesen zur Pathogenese der Aphthen, wie sie auch in einigen Übersichtsarbeiten dargestellt wurden [4, 8, 9].
