Summary
A physical approach is presented. It takes into account the effect on the behaviour of the material of both strain hardening and rupture of the constitutive grains on one hand and of average value on the other hand. The model unables us to describe the evolution of the fatigue life with the applied loads and also the effects of temporary over or underloading.
