Zusammenfassung

Die anatomischen Verhältnisse för die Gebilde, die zwischen dem M. scalenus anterior und dem M. scalenus medius hindurchziehen, erklären die Möglichkeit der lokalen Stenosierung. Dies betrifft neben den Plexuswurzeln C5–C7 auch die A. subclavia. Das operative Ziel kann nur in einer Befreiung dieser Strukturen aus der scherenartigen Enge des Skalenusdreiecks bestehen, und zwar mit Hilfe der Durchtrennung des M. scalenus anterior.
