Abstract

Here environmental models based on the study of modern sediments have been compiled. We have been able to use only a few of the models. Several generalizations regarding distribution of bedding types are made. However, the critical reader is referred to Part I, where their distribution and genesis have been described. The utility of such models would be proved by critical study of such models in the light of study of ancient environments.
