Abstract
We have attempted, in the present work, to give not only an account of well-established experimental facts, physical models and theories, but have raised, as the reader might have noticed, also a number of disputable, even controversial problems. This is natural, if we are dealing with a scientific discipline that is still in the early stages of development, as is the case with the physics of organic molecular crystals.
