Zusammenfassung

Vor genau 100 Jahren besehrieb Hutchinson [15] die „Sommerprurigo“, der er zugleich als Synonyma „Prurigo aestivalis“, „Prurigo adolescentium“und „Acne prurigo“gab. Hutchinsons Beschreibung war akkurat: Die Krankheit befiel im Frühjahr oder Frühsommer jüngere Menschen hauptsächlich an den lichtexponierten Arealen von Gesicht und Armen. Die Einzeleffloreszenzen waren kleine entzündlich gerötete Papeln, die nicht in Pusteln übergingen und nicht ulzerierten. Der Verlauf war chronisch mit Rezidiven über viele Jahre hinweg.
