Zusammenfassung
Die zeitliche Sekretion von Hormonen erfolgt bei Tieren vielfach episodisch. Ein typisches Sekretionsmuster von Wachstumshormon beim Stier ist in Abbildung 1 über eine Zeitperiode von 24 Stunden mit Entnahmeintervallen von 15 Minuten dargestellt. Neben einem ausgeprägten Basisniveau sind zeitlich zufällig auftretende Extremkonzentrationen zu erkennen. Zur quantitativen Erfassung von Basis- und Extremwerten haben Brinkley et al. (1973) eine Ausreisseranalyse vorgeschlagen. Diese Methode wurde von Anfinson et al. (1975) zur Beschreibung von Wachstumshormonmustern angewandt. Christian et al. (1978) haben das Verfahren weiter bearbeitet und ein Computerprogramm HORMPART entwickelt.
