Übersicht

Das Wiener Medizinische Informationssystem WAMIS wurde mit Beginn des Jahres 1975 im Bereich des Allgemeinen Krankenhauses der Stadt Wien eingeführt (1), (2), (3). Die vorliegende Untersuchung soll die Schwierigkeiten rund um die Konzeption des Informationssystems sowie die Probleme aufzeigen, die während des 2 1/2-jährigen Routinebetriebes aufgetreten sind. Im folgenden soll kurz über Zielsetzung, Aufbau und Hardware berichtet werden.
