New Paramagnetic Shifts in the Aqueous Solution of Paramagnetic Salts

Abstract

Using the NMR-signal of micellar microphase as a standard the pseudocontact shifts in the second coordination sphere of magnetically-anisotropic ions have been observed. These shifts may be used for the study of the ion-ion or ion-molecule collision geometry as well as for the study of the distribution of the substances between aqueous phase and nonaqueous microphase.
