Relaxation Time and Moisture Effects in the Superionic Conductor Sodium β″-Alumina

Abstract

We measured T1, T, and T2 of 23Na for a powder sodium β″-alumina sample over the temperature range 185°K to 800°K and observed a broad asymmetric minimum near 5°C. We also studied the effects of absorbed water on T1.
