Theory of Spin-Spin Relaxation in Magnetically Diluted Systems

Abstract

For a magnetically diluted system with dipole-dipole interactions, Boltzmann type equations for one-particle spin density matrix are derived. These equations are used to investigate the magnetic resonance (mr) line shapes for S=1/2 and S=1, kinetics of establishing the spin temperature for S=1 and kinetics of cross-relaxation between the spins S=1/2.
